Lytham St Annes voted Top 10 Place in the North West to live, also a great place to come and visit. Lytham a gold medal Champion of Champions in the national Britain in Bloom awards. The Royal Horticultural Society quoted ' it is one of the greenest, cleanest and most beautiful places in Britain'. St Anne's on the Sea have won its first ever Gold Medal in 2014 the judges were very impressed with the cleanliness of the main shopping area, parks, school and side roads.
St Annes Kite Festival - 25th/26th of July 2015. The skies above St Annes seafront will be awash with colour on Saturday and Sunday as fabulous display kites take to the air on the beach adjacent to the pier. The festival will feature single line kites of all shapes and sizes, including a 30 metre long inflatable Octopus, flying cows, dogs, hippos, and new for this year - Oscar - THE WORLD'S LARGEST TEDDY BEAR KITE. Plus 2-line and 4-line stunt kites flown in time to music, and so much more.
Lytham Festival - Lytham Festival is the new name for Lytham Proms. In 2015 the newly named Lytham Festival is set to run from Monday 3rd August – Sunday 9th August.
Bringing together Lytham wide venues, the “Proms Arena” on the green will still play host to the traditional Proms event, with the exciting addition of the Thursday evening. Staying true to its heritage with picnics and Union Jacks, but not forgetting the ever popular, return of the 80s night!
A brand new The Comedy Tent will feature some of the biggest names in comedy along with up and coming performers will be presented in a 1,500 capacity ‘Big Top’ hosted by Park View for You.
To add to this, there will be a mix of outdoor cinema, acoustic stages, traditional Jazz venues, Literary Lunches and things for all the family to enjoy. Making Lytham Festival 2015, not one to be missed.
