Lytham  a gold medal Champion of Champions in the national Britain in Bloom awards.  The Royal Horticultural Society quoted ' it is one of the greenest, cleanest and most beautiful places in Britain'.  St Anne's on the Sea have won its first ever Gold Medal in 2014 the judges were very impressed with the cleanliness of the main shopping area, parks, school and side roads. 

St Annes Kite Festival - 30th/31st July 2016. The skies above St Annes seafront will be awash with colour on Saturday and Sunday as fabulous display kites take to the air on the beach adjacent to the pier. The festival will feature single line kites of all shapes and sizes, including a 30 metre long inflatable Octopus, flying cows, dogs, hippos, and new for this year - Oscar - THE WORLD'S LARGEST TEDDY BEAR KITE. Plus 2-line and 4-line stunt kites flown in time to music, and so much more.

Lytham Festival - is set to run from Sunday 1st to Sunday 7th August. 

Rock legend Bryan Adams and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are the two headline acts for this year's Lytham Festival. There will also be performances from pop stars including The Village People, Bay City Rollers and Earth Wind & Fire and a host of West End stars will take to the stage over three nights at Lytham Festival 2016.
