By Car:

Lytham St Annes couldn’t be easier to find by car, the directions below will lead you straight into the Town Centre.

At the western end of the M55 motorway exit junction 4, follow the A5230 Progress Way, which then directly leads into the A5230 Squires Gate Lane. On reaching the end of this road at Starr Gate turn left onto the A584 Clifton Drive North and this will take you directly into Lytham St Annes.

By Rail:

Lytham St Annes is easily accessible by train from Preston. Trains leave Preston station every hour to Blackpool South and take an average 30 minutes to arrive at St Annes, when purchasing your ticket, ask for a 'Plus Bus' ticket, which will allow travel on all Blackpool Transport Services. Please note: Lytham Station is followed by Ansdell & Fairhaven then St Annes on the Sea.

Taxis are available from St Annes Station and it's only a short walk to the local bus services. For further information: www.southfyldelinecrp.co.uk

You can also reach Lytham St Annes from Blackpool South Station; these trains are hourly and on average take 8 minutes.

By Air:

Blackpool Airport is located only 10 minutes from Lytham and St Annes town centres. The airport is half a mile from Squires Gate Station (hourly trains).This airport has scheduled daily flights to / from the Isle of Man. Once you have landed at the airport, you can catch a taxi or take the train from Blackpool South (Squires Gate) to St Annes, or alternatively Blackpool North to Preston for routes which are further afield, car hire facilities are available at the airport.

Bus routes 11 and 68 (15 minutes) are within easy walking distance.

Alternatives to Blackpool Airport are Manchester International Airport, which is approximately 45 minutes drive away or Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which is also approximately 45 minutes drive away.
