Lytham Proms Festival Weekend 2014
We are delighted to announce that for our 5th Anniversary of Lytham Proms the Hallé Orchestra will perform on Sunday 3rd August. The Orchestra is one of the oldest and most famous orchestra's in the UK and we can't wait to host the full 85 PIECE ensemble in 'Last Night of the Proms' (our usual orchestra is 32 piece!!!)... Michael Ball will headline Lytham Proms on Sunday 3rd August with The Hallé. We also welcome back our opening year headliner Lesley Garrett as we celebrate 5 Years of 'The Proms'. Joining Michael and Lesley will be Kerry Ellis leading lady from 'We Will Rock You' and 'Wicked' and Welsh operatic supremo Rhydian Roberts. Opening the show will be Tenors of Rock.
The evening will be a selection of classics along with some musical theatre favourites... all culminating in a spectacular firework display set to music from Les Misérables and of course a traditional 'Last Night of the Proms' finale.
In addition to this, and to celebrate our 5th Anniversary we are trying to encourage a younger audience to this concert. As a result we are making available over 1000 FREE tickets to children aged 16 and under when accompanied by an adult ticket.
