A traditional farmhouse restaurant, run by a local farming family. If you enjoy large portions then this is the restaurant for you. Very popular with locals and set in a lovely rural location.
Set in a 16th-century farmhouse belonging to Little Carrside Farm, Rigby's has been serving up traditional British food (much of it sourced from the family farm) since 1988. The wine list is thoughtfully put together and very reasonably priced. It's hidden away deep in the Lancashire countryside west of Preston but is well worth a visit. (info from sugarvine.com)

Road Directions
Take junction 3 and follow A585 to Kirkham. At the next roundabout take the second junction sign-posted Lytham St.Annes and Wrea Green. Go straight over the next small roundabout. At the next roundabout go straight across to Wrea Green. On entering the village continue until the raised mini junction facing the green and turn left to Warton. After 1.5 miles turn right into Carr Lane, the restaurant is 200 yards on the right.
